About the Artist
Suzie Seerey-Lester is an internationally known, award winning wildlife artist. She started panting as a teenager, and as an adult took her first art class. Suzie likes to pant the hardlines of something man made, like a barn, and add the softness of an animal or bird. Suzie frequently uses a large mammal, or her favorite owls in different environments. She will only paint things that she has personally seen in the wild. She is a master of acrylic, oil and watercolor. She is featured in several galleries, and museums in the US. For over 30 years Suzie and her husband John, taught classes all over the world, using live wildlife as models. Suzie is considered by many to be a real mermaid.
